Cause-Related Marketing

Candid, a direct-to-consumer clear aligner company focused on helping customers receive orthodontic care at an affordable price, relaunched their partnership with Smile Train in 2019. Using both their digital and physical store footprint, Candid is engaging new consumers in its efforts to support Smile Train. For every teeth aligner kit sold, Candid will make a $25 donation to Smile Train. Candid’s goal is to fund over 1,000 surgeries in 2019. Now customers have the opportunity to change their own smile while helping children get the life-changing care they need. Read more on how Candid is making this partnership a core part of their business.

Employee Engagement

Smile Train and Haleon are working together to transform lives, one smile at a time. Haleon is encouraging their employees around the globe to volunteer their time and skills to raise funds for Smile Train. Working closely with Smile Train’s Corporate Partnerships team, Haleon country offices are finding fun and unique ways to involve employees in the work and vision of Smile Train. More than 40 country offices have joined in this global employee movement so far, hosting local launches, encouraging employees to create fundraisers, attending conferences, and participating in local team events, from writing get-well cards for Smile Train’s patients to bake sales, craft fairs, and physical challenge events.

Matching Gifts

Matching Gifts

Companies ranging in size from fortune 500 companies to small businesses often choose to match the donations made by their employees. In 2018 alone, companies like IBM, Target, Aetna and hundreds of others matched their employees’ donations to Smile Train, helping create an additional 4,250+ smiles. Click here to see if your company participates in employee gift matching and learn more about your employer’s matching gift guidelines. If you don’t see your employer listed, contact your Human Resources Department.

Event Sponsorship

Event Sponsorship

From Carol Concerts, Summer Celebrations, Big Smile Tea Parties and World Smile Day activities, we’re always on the lookout for event sponsors. We also engage with fundraisers all around the world to join together for global fundraising days, including Yoga for Smiles. Every year in honour of the United Nations’ International Day of Yoga, we invite companies and individuals to practice yoga and raise funds for Smile Train. Companies like Beverly Hills MD and CorePower Yoga have been major supporters of this day, sponsoring events across the country and engaging their own employees through office events. Read more on this event partnership.
