Heather Small Shines at Smile Train UK’s Big Smile Carol Concert!

On Tuesday 5 December, Smile Train UK hosted the enchanting Big Smile Carol Concert at the beautiful Grosvenor Chapel, Mayfair, creating an evening filled with joy, music, and heartwarming stories. Nearly 200 guests and supporters gathered for a night of carol singing, mince pies, and mulled wine.

A highlight of the night was the spectacular performance by the legendary Heather Small, who took the stage with grace and charisma. The audience were treated to a captivating performance of her iconic hit "Search for a Hero", followed by the soulful “Proud."

Later, her rendition of “Silent Night” echoed through the venue, filling hearts with the spirit of the season.

The evening was not just about the captivating performances; it was a celebration of our Smile Train community in the UK and around the world. Members of the cleft community, including Cleft Community Advisory Council member Steve Anthony and our newest Community Ambassadors Elouan Biwole and Nishchala Chitradurga, took part in meaningful readings and reflections.

The atmosphere was electric with positivity and hope as guests connected with the personal journeys of our cleft community. The concert served as a reminder of the profound impact a supportive community can have on individuals facing challenges.

Throughout the evening, guests reflected on the accomplishments of the past year and looked forward to the continued success and growth of the charity, whilst Heather Small's powerful voice and stage presence left everyone in awe, creating an unforgettable musical experience.
